Interface software

Intan Recording System Software (NEW)

The following software is for use with the new 512ch and 1024ch Intan Recording Controllers which allows users to use the Intan Technologies RHD2000 series digital electrophysiology chips.

  • Compiled version 2.02 Intan Recording Controller software for Windows (updated 9 December 2016). This software does not work with the RHD2000 USB interface board! See next section if you don't have a 512ch or 1024ch Recording Controller.
    Note: This software can be run without a Recording Controller; it will generate synthetic neural data for demonstration purposes if no Recording Controller is connected.
  • USB interface board drivers that should be installed before attaching the Recording Controller hardware to a computer. (Drivers do not have to be installed to run the interface software in demonstration mode.)
  • MATLAB m-file functions for reading saved data files, version 2.0 (updated 31 October 2016).
  • Complete C++/Qt source code for Intan Recording Controller software, version 2.02 (updated 9 December 2016).
  • Complete Rhythm USB3 v2.0 C++ API source code (including pre-compiled FPGA configuration file) for custom interface design. (This is also included in the complete C++/Qt source code for the Intan Recording Controller software.)
  • Complete Rhythm USB3 v2.0 FPGA Verilog HDL source code (only required if you wish to modify the FPGA configuration; requires Xilinx WebPack)

RHD2000 Evaluation System Software

The following software is for use with the 256ch RHD2000 USB interface board, part of the RHD2000 evaluation system which allows users to use the Intan Technologies RHD2000 series digital electrophysiology chips.

Intan Stimulation/Recording System Software (NEW)

The following software is for use with the Intan Stimulation/Recording Controller which allows users to use the Intan Technologies RHS2000 stimulation/amplifier chips.

  • Compiled version 1.0 Intan Stimulation/Recording Controller software for Windows (updated 31 January 2017). Note: This software can be run without a Stimulation/Recording Controller; it will generate synthetic neural data for demonstration purposes if no Controller is connected.
  • USB interface board drivers that should be installed before attaching the Intan Stimulation/Recording  Controller to a computer.  (Drivers do not have to be installed to run the interface software in demonstration mode.)
  • MATLAB m-file functions for reading saved data files, version 1.0 (updated 31 January 2017).
  • Complete C++/Qt source code for Intan Stimulation/Recording Controller software, version 1.0 (updated 31 January 2017).

CLAMP System Software

The following software is for use with the Intan CLAMP System which allows users to quickly evaluate the functions and performance of the Intan Technologies CLAMP series amplifier chips.

  • Compiled version 1.0 CLAMP interface software for Windows (updated 17 September 2016). Requires Intan CLAMP Controller to run.
  • USB interface board drivers that should be installed before attaching the Intan CLAMP Controller to a computer.
  • Complete C++/Qt source code for CLAMP interface software, version 1.0 (updated 1 November 2016)

We offer printed circuit board (PCB) design resources in Eagle PCB format, as well as Gerber fabrication files, PDF schematics and PDF assembly diagrams. For users of other PCB software, we show recommended PCB part footprints in our chip datasheets.

RHD2000 Evaluation System

  • Intan Technologies RHD2000 parts libraries in Eagle PCB format. This library includes all chips in the RHD2000 series, as well as connectors used in the RHD2000 evaluation system.
