Interface software

RHD2000 Evaluation System Software

The following software is for use with the RHD2000 USB interface board, part of the RHD2000 evaluation system which allows users to use the Intan Technologies RHD2000 series digital electrophysiology chips.

  • NEW: Compiled version 1.5 RHD2000 interface software for Windows (updated 3 May 2016).
    Note: This software can be run without an evaluation board; it will generate synthetic neural data for demonstration purposes if no evaluation board is connected.
  • USB interface board drivers that should be installed before attaching RHD2000 interface hardware to a computer. (Drivers do not have to be installed to run the interface software in demonstration mode.)
  • MATLAB m-file functions for reading saved data files, version 1.3 (updated 10 December 2013). Fully compatible with version 1.5 software.
  • Python script for reading saved RHD2000 data files.
  • NEW: Windows command line file converter to translate Intan RHD2000 *.rhd data files to Spike2 format.
  • Complete C++/Qt source code for RHD2000 interface software, version 1.5 (updated 3 May 2015), and version 1.5 release notes.
  • Complete Rhythm v1.5 C++ API source code (including pre-compiled FPGA configuration file) for custom interface design. (This is also included in the complete C++/Qt source code for the RHD2000 interface software.) Release notes for v1.5.
  • Complete Rhythm v1.5 FPGA Verilog HDL source code (no changes from v1.4; only required if you wish to modify the FPGA configuration; requires Xilinx WebPack).
  • Intan RHD2000 LabVIEW Library for Windows-based PCs.
  • Intan RHD2000 MATLAB Toolbox for Windows-based PCs.
  • RHD2000 electroplating MATLAB GUI. (Requires RHD2000 electroplating board and RHD2000 MATLAB Toolbox.)

RHA2000 Evaluation Board Software

The following Windows-based software is for use with the RHA2000-EVAL board which allows users to quickly evaluate the functions and performance of the Intan Technologies RHA2000 series amplifier chips.

 


Printed circuit board design resources

We offer printed circuit board (PCB) design resources in Eagle PCB format, as well as Gerber fabrication files, PDF schematics and PDF assembly diagrams. For users of other PCB software, we show recommended PCB part footprints in our chip datasheets.

RHD2000 Evaluation System

  • Intan Technologies RHD2000 parts libraries in Eagle PCB format. This library includes all chips in the RHD2000 series, as well as connectors used in the RHD2000 evaluation system.
